Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of physical therapy needs, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and restoration of function following illness or injury
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Conduct thorough assessments and assessments of patients' physical therapy needs, including range of motion, strength, flexibility, and motor function
Utilize evidence-based practice guidelines and treatment protocols to ensure best possible outcomes
Educate patients and families on proper body mechanics, posture, and safety precautions to promote continued progress and independence
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop comprehensive treatment plans
