Position Title: Children’s Pastor
Part-Time: 20 hours/week | Non-Exempt
Reports To: Formation Pastor
Position Summary
HOPE Covenant Church is seeking a passionate, relational, and visionary Children’s Pastor to
lead our HOPE Kids Ministry (birth through 6th grade). This leader will provide spiritual
leadership for children, partner with parents, equip volunteers, and create engaging
environments where children experience the love of Jesus and grow in their faith. This
position averages approximately 20 hours per week and includes Sunday mornings, weekly
staff meetings, volunteer development, planning, and seasonal ministry events.
Opportunity & Vision
HOPE is entering an exciting season of growth, and we believe our children’s ministry has
tremendous potential in the years ahead. We're not looking for someone to maintain an
existing ministry; we're looking for someone who is excited to help build what comes next.
More than finding someone who has done every aspect of this role before, we're looking for a
leader who is teachable, takes initiative, loves people, and enjoys building healthy teams.
We recognize this vision will unfold over multiple years. Together, we'll work toward:
● Developing a thriving children’s ministry that offers engaging programming during both
Sunday morning worship services.
● Building and strengthening volunteer teams that support healthy, sustainable ministry
growth.
● Collaborating with church leadership to design and launch engaging children's ministry
environments as part of our future campus expansion.
● Creating welcoming spaces where children and families experience belonging,
discipleship, and fun.
● Helping HOPE Kids remain a vital part of HOPE Covenant Church's mission of making
disciples.

performance. If you're passionate about helping children know and follow Jesus, love building
teams, and are excited to grow alongside a church that is looking toward the future, we'd
love to meet you.
