Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Santa Ana, CA, for a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator at Hope Community Services will be responsible for supporting the delivery of essential food distribution services to underserved communities. This role focuses on coordinating the daily operations of the grocery program, managing volunteer engagement, and ensuring the smooth logistics of food distribution efforts. The Program Coordinator will contribute to the success of the program through strong communication, administrative management, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the grocery program, ensuring services are effectively implemented and aligned with program objectives.
- Develop and maintain administrative procedures to enhance the efficiency of food distribution and volunteer coordination.
- Assist in promoting program awareness through community outreach and communication strategies.
- Manage program participant applications, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, volunteers, donors, and other key stakeholders, maintaining regular communication.
- Establish and maintain a data management system to monitor and report on program metrics such as food distribution volume, participant demographics, and overall impact.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to manage invoicing and financial transactions related to the grocery program.
- Conduct program evaluations through participant surveys, data analysis, and feedback to assess effectiveness and improve services.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in program coordination or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working within a nonprofit organization.
- Experience facilitating workshops or training sessions.
- Commitment to cultural competence and community engagement.
- Access to reliable transportation for program-related duties.
Salary : $22 - $24
