Overview
HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City. We provide compassionate trauma informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve.
We are currently seeking a Therapeutic Counselor in Justice Services to provide counseling, assessment, and crisis intervention for justice-involved adults. This position emphasizes collaboration with court teams and service coordination to meet the unique needs of individuals in the justice system.
About the Position
As a Therapeutic Counselor, you will deliver therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, clinical assessments, and treatment planning. You will also collaborate with court treatment teams, fulfill reporting requirements, and provide services in various community settings, including jails.
About the Justice Services Program
The Justice Services program supports individuals navigating the justice system by offering recovery-focused, culturally competent care. This program is committed to reducing barriers and enhancing outcomes for justice-involved individuals.
Requirements
- Current license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) in Oklahoma or a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field with eligibility for licensure supervision.
- Experience working with justice-involved populations is preferred.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and ability to meet HOPE’s insurance requirements.
Skills
- Ability to provide counseling services tailored to justice-involved individuals.
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
- Experience in collaborative and community-based care, including work with court systems.
Additional Requirements
- May require First Aid, CPR, and Therapeutic Options certifications.
- Availability for evening and weekend hours as needed.
- Willingness to provide transportation using personal or agency vehicles.
