Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
As our Hard of Hearing Navigator, you will provide services to Hope support recipients through your work in providing a range of resources and services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. These services are designed to assist support recipients who are hard of hearing or experience hearing loss, and their families, to navigate the services and supports available in the state of Alaska. This position ensures that the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members in need of supports are referred to the Deaf Navigator Program by providing networking, outreach and marketing.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Vocational Rehabilitation or related field required. Experience in lieu of education may be accepted on a one-for-one basis in appropriate fields.
- Two years of experience in case management or navigation services to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing required.
- Fluency in American Sign Language and knowledgeable of Deaf Culture and Alaska Native Culture required.
Salary : $20 - $23
