Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
The Intensive Support Resident Manager is a live-in leadership role responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, nurturing, and safe home environment. The Intensive Supports Resident Manager oversees daily operations of the assisted living home, ensures high-quality supports, and provides strong team leadership. This is a 12 days on/2 days off schedule and housing is provided.
Responsibilities Include:

Provides day-to-day oversight of the assisted living home, ensuring a supportive, respectful, and person-centered living environment.

Leads, mentors, and supervises direct care staff to ensure consistent high-quality support and adherence to agency and state guidelines.

Works directly with supported individuals to promote independence, skill development, and community engagement.

Ensures accurate, timely completion of all required paperwork, routine reports, and documentation.
- Implements individualized support plans and ensures staff follow-through.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED; and
- Four (4) years of experience providing direct support services; one (1) year of which is directly related experience supporting people that demonstrate challenging and/or aggressive behaviors. One year supervisory or administrative experience strongly preferred; or
- Equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience.
