Job Description:
Flexible Hours
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our congregation, staff, and rental clients.
Responsibility:
· Responsible for the janitorial care of the church facility. Cleans all building areas (apart from Mrs. Murray’s Nursery School), including trash and recycling removal.
· Adheres to cleaning schedule as determined by Facility Manager.
· Inspects grounds for debris, making sure all entry paths are swept and free of ice in winter months.
· Event set up and breakdowns as needed.
· May be asked to perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
· Communicates any facility or supply needs promptly

Physical Demands:
· Ability to stand/bend/stretch/reach/kneel/crawl, etc.
· Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time throughout the work shift.
· Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
Requirements:
· Previous janitorial experience or cleaning experience preferred (commercial or office environment is ideal)
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to remain focused on tasks.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
