Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Shifts: All shifts require working alternating weekends

7am – 3pm

3pm – 11pm

11pm – 7am

Job Description:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Hope Christian Services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Dsp Responsibilities:

· Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

· Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion.

· Assist individuals with accessing community resources and participating in recreational and social activities.

· Document client progress, observations, and any incidents according to established protocols.

· Assisting with medication administration and management, under the direction of a licensed nurse or healthcare professional.

Dsp Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent (required).

· Valid non-probationary driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals with disabilities.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.

· Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not required.

· Must submit to a criminal background check and be deemed qualified by the Department of Human Services prior to hire.

· Shall submit to drug testing prior to employment as well as randomly and for cause.

Must agree to have their name checked against the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Child Abuse Registry Information.

Pay: $19.41 - $19.50 per hour
