Hope Center Ministries is a growing nonprofit discipleship recovery program with multiple centers across the U.S. Hope Center Ministries exists to restore lives, restore families, and restore communities. We do this by helping those individuals bound by drug addiction and/or alcoholism find lasting freedom and sobriety through a relationship with Jesus Christ, which translates into seeing the lost saved, the saved freed, the freed restored, and the restored fulfilled.

The Opportunity

Grants Compliance & Financial Operations Specialist is part of the Central Support Finance team located in Bethany, OK. This specialist is responsible for managing the outgoing funds of Hope Center Ministries (HCM) through check requests, invoice payments, ministry-wide bill payments, and full oversight of grant financial compliance and reporting. Even more importantly, this role is part of a resident’s journey to and through recovery. We are a rapidly growing discipleship recovery program with over 50 centers across the U.S. and over 1,200 residents in the program. And we won’t stop there! HCM exists to lead addicts and their families to become fully devoted followers of Christ. As a result, we witness the restoration of lives, families, and communities—all because of Jesus.

What You’ll Do Financial Operations

• Maintain precise records of all vendor payments made by check, card, or ACH
• Centralize bill payments ministry-wide and ensure timely payment of all obligations
• Analyze accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accuracy
• Perform internal audits, checks, and balances
• Track and maintain fixed assets
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Identify opportunities to minimize spending
• Implement efficient and effective systems in anticipation of HCM’s continued growth
• Initiate and maintain state filings
• Other duties as assigned

Grant Tracking, Compliance, & Reporting

• Serve as the primary point of responsibility for all grant-related financial activities
• Track grant expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding guidelines
• Monitor grant-funded activities for compliance with federal, state, local, and private grant requirements
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation required for audits, reporting, and regulatory review
• Prepare and submit all required financial reports to grantors accurately and on time
• Develop internal processes to ensure adherence to spending rules, allowable costs, and documentation standards
• Partner with leadership to ensure grant spending supports ministry goals and complies with funding restrictions
• Identify risks, variances, or compliance gaps and proactively resolve them

Team & Development

• Attend and contribute to monthly team meetings
• Bring new ideas and continuous improvement suggestions
• Devote time for spiritual, mental, and physical development and well-being
• Attend periodic courses, workshops, and webinars

•    Successfully pass background screening & Social media, personal and professional reference checks
