Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
Role and Responsibilities Provide advocacy, crisis intervention, referrals, safety planning, and follow-ups for caregivers and children. Conduct intakes to assess family needs, develop safety plans, and promote healthy parenting techniques.Collaborate with caregivers’ case managers and community agencies to coordinate services. Support families through transportation arrangements, school enrollment assistance, and shelter operations. Facilitate caregiver/child groups and organize events such as birthday parties and baby showers. Plan and lead activities for children and families while providing child monitoring during meetings. Maintain documentation and prepare monthly reports per policy. Represent the agency in community activities. Always adheres to Service Excellence standards. Complies with agency policies and procedures, federal and state requirements, CARF standards, and educational/certification/registry requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
