Position
The Afternoon Receptionist is responsible for greeting, taking phone calls, and general clerical tasks at Hope Academy. This position functions as a point of contact for staff, students, parents/guardians, and guests. This position is from 3:30pm-5:30pm (typically 10 hours per week) during the school year with some additional evening hours during school events, admissions tours and youth athletic practices. $18-20/hour depending on qualifications and experience. Can be combined with another part-time role.
The following reflects essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned:
- Manage the main door to the building; screening guests as they come into the building
- Student, Volunteer, and Visitors sign-in and out as applicable
- Receive phone calls
- Other clerical tasks as assigned by the Main Office Manager

Education and Skills Required
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission and work of Hope Academy and a desire to play an integral part in growing the impact of Hope Academy.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to go above and beyond in building relationships with students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as a team member.
General Faculty Qualifications

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
