Preschool Teacher Assistant for the 2026 - 2027 School Year

Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. Collaborates effectively with families and fellow staff members to support the growth, development, and success of children with a wide range of abilities and needs.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 10 am - 5:30 pm

Salary:

$13 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for children ages 2–5.
• Support the developmental, academic, and social-emotional growth of all students.
• Adapt instruction and activities to meet a variety of learning needs and ability levels.
• Implement curriculum, assessments, and classroom routines effectively.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
• Use appropriate classroom management strategies to promote student success.
• Communicate professionally and positively with families, colleagues, and community members.
• Collaborate with staff to support school-wide goals and student achievement.
• Supervise and engage students during extended care as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director or Head of School.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Meets required standards as specified by the State Department of Health/Child Care Licensure Standards for staff including fingerprinting and background check
• Obtain or Have certification in CPR and First Aid
• Experience working with children
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
