We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QP) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions to support clients across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
- Manage medical documentation with precision while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy of medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to evaluate treatment outcomes and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist) with experience in psychotherapy and clinical counseling.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with children & family counseling, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Geriatrics, and gender issues counseling.
- Proficiency in crisis management techniques including crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with telehealth platforms for remote patient care delivery.
- Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health disorders such as PTSD, chronic pain conditions, addiction issues, grief counseling, and psychopharmacology.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, social work principles, and working within HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs within outpatient or inpatient settings; experience in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus.
