What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Caregiver - Evening Feeding (Monday through Sat PM Shifts Available) position at Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue?
The Evening Animal Caregiver will be responsible for animal care, including feeding, cleaning and medicating. For this position, we are looking for someone who loves people as well as animals. The ideal applicant is friendly, outgoing, able to work independently and in a group. Animal experience with dogs, horses and farm animals is preferred but not required.
Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be willing to work in all types of weather. Tentative schedule is about 4 pm to 6 pm. Monday through Saturday shifts are available. We are looking for applicants who can work at least 2 of these shifts but one person has done all 6 days in the past so that is possible if more hours are desired. Pay is $15-16 per hour to start, based on experience.
