What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical/Electrical Assembler position at Hoover Pumping Systems?
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assemble and fabricate pump station mechanical assemblies from shop drawings and other documentation
- Drilling, cutting of pipe and sheet metal
- Operating band saw, drill press, roll groove machine and heat fusion machine
- Build electrical panels from schematics
- CRITICAL NEEDS:
- Accurate, timely, and take pride in workmanship
- Organized and able to work multiple projects simultaneously by priority
- 1-3 years of experience working as an Electrician, mechanical assembly, or irrigation background strongly desired
- Team player able to build solid working relationships with co-workers
- Energetic & optimistic attitude
- Ability to multi-task without compromising quality
- BASIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Drug Free Workplace
- Must understand basic math and be able to take accurate measurements
- Must be able to pass OSHA 10 hour safety class or have current certification
- Must be proficient in reading and writing English
- Basic computer skills required
- Clean background check
- Driver license required
- Fork Truck certification or experience
- Able to lift up to 50LBS
- Education Requirement – HS Diploma, some college or trades training
- Work Hours – 7am to 3:30 M-F, Overtime as Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
