Our Field Service Tech will have total responsibility for servicing and maintaining high-end irrigation pump stations and water management products across the state of Florida.

What you will do:
- Utilize hand/power tools and computers for the comprehensive servicing and maintenance of high-end irrigation pump stations, encompassing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems (VFDs, PLCs, pumps/motors).
- Employ precise measuring and testing equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, referencing electrical schematics for accurate diagnosis.
- Clearly communicate with customers and the Hoover Service Department, leading active inquiries to understand challenges, problems, and needs. Articulate technical issues, detail performed work, and provide recommendations for additional scope of work as necessary.
- Travel daily to customer sites in a fully stocked van, responsible for recording and maintaining appropriate van inventory levels.
- Complete digital Work Orders on-site, capturing supporting information such as pictures and measurements.
- Proactively diagnose issues using our Flowguard remote monitoring software.
Basic Requirements:
- Drug free workplace
- Ability to pass a background check (criminal history, DMV, credit)
- At least 1 year experience working with mechanical or electrical equipment (ex: automotive, electronics, computers, etc.)
- Must have clean driving record
- Tolerant of outdoors in hot Florida climate
- Diving certification is a plus
