Position Concept:
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for creating an atmosphere of excellent service in all dining areas and outlets, while exhibiting a standard of excellence and developing pride for membership and staff. This position assists in directing the activities of the Hoover Country Club food and beverage service staff. This includes assisting in hiring, training, and scheduling the team as well as making sure the team works cohesively and ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly. You will manage daily restaurant operations and help prepare for special events while providing hands-on assistance and management support to motivate your team. In season, you will directly manage the Cabana, including recruitment, scheduling and supervision of seasonal staff which include service staff and lifeguards. Additionally, you will be responsible for upholding the overall appearance of the Club and reporting any maintenance needs to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
