We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lot Porter and Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Safely move, park, and organize vehicles on the dealership lot, ensuring proper placement and accessibility for customers and staff
- Assist with vehicle arrivals and departures, including processing keys and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized lot by removing debris, washing vehicles as needed, and ensuring clear pathways for safe outdoor work
- Support inventory management by tracking vehicle locations, updating records, and assisting with vehicle transfers between lots or storage areas
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting customers, answering questions about vehicles, and directing them to sales or service staff
- Handle cash transactions for parking fees or related services with accuracy and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status, lot conditions, or customer needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating standard passenger cars and manual transmissions preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Prior dealership experience or familiarity with automotive service is a plus but not required
- Experience with retail math, cash handling, processing cash transactions, or cashiering is advantageous
- Knowledge of parking procedures at parking facilities or similar outdoor environments
- Enthusiastic attitude with a focus on guest services, hospitality, and teamwork
