The Hoover Automotive Group is looking for experienced auto technicians to join our Summerville location. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to follow instructions well, and takes pride in being punctual.
Prior automotive technician/mechanic experience required.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications:
- Prior auto technician/mechanic experience required
- Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have own tools
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment
- Perform diagnostic analysis
- Perform periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment in an assigned territory.
- Modify and update equipment when required
- Prepare detailed service and failure records and recommend changes to the customer on a regular basis
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner.
- Ability to accurately perceive information from others and ensure appropriate flow of said information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
- Coordinate and keep up to date on new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance
