Duties

• Assist in bakery prep & other processes including flour mixes & blends, and possible baking to ensure fresh, delicious offerings.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity to meet customer specifications and enhance presentation.
• Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining quality standards and food safety protocols.
• Support kitchen operations by handling food safely, preparing ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace.
• Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Following directions is essential
• This position is Monday & Wednesday mornings, another more detailed position is Monday - Thursday.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation, baking, or pastry work is desirable.
• Familiarity with Cake Frosting / decorating techniques and packaging methods enhances your suitability for this role.
• Experience working in the Food industry/Bakeries is encouraged
• Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
• Kitchen experience involving Hobart Mixers, Bakery production & Prep Work enhances workflow and product quality.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
