In This Role You Will:

• Follows community’s policies and procedures for handling, storing, processing, and
  transporting linen and residents’ personal laundry.
• Complies with infection control requirements of the laundry and uses appropriate
  personal protective equipment and supplies, as necessary.
•  Establishes and adheres to laundry schedule to ensure adequate supply of clean
  laundry is available in all required areas. Assigns schedules/duties for laundry
  team members as appropriate.
• Sorts and loads laundry as designated.
•  Washes linen, clothing and other items and records weights for each load.
•  Irons linen and clothing.
• Reads labels on personal laundry prior to washing.
• Reports any damaged or lost clothing articles to the supervisor. Arranges for
  repairs and/or replacements, as necessary.
• Ensures residents’ garments are properly labeled and labels items, as appropriate.
• Follows all written infection control procedures established by the community and performs other related duties as assigned

Shift Details: Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Weekend Rotation 

Who You Are:

• Detail oriented individual with previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Physically capable, dependable, and prepared to actively engage in hands-on work, including bending, twisting, stretching, repetitive motion, pushing, pulling, and safely lifting or moving up to 25 pounds in support of daily operations
• Eager to learn and grow, with the ability to quickly absorb on-the-job training and apply new skills effectively to meet and exceed performance expectations
