Job Summary
We are seeking reliable individuals to hire for this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects on both interiors and exteriors. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory, and specific application requirements.
- Mix paints and coatings accurately using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired colors and finishes.
- Apply paint, stain, primer, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment across various surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, and fixtures.
- Perform construction painting tasks on new builds or renovation sites while adhering to safety standards on construction sites.
- Execute specialty painting techniques such as industrial painting or restoration work when required.
- Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, and caulking guns for surface preparation and finishing touches.
Requirements
- We require that you have a driver's license and can show up to work everyday.
- On the job training will be provided
- Basic math skills for measurements and mixing paints or coatings precisely.
- Ability to read schematics and understand technical instructions related to industrial or construction painting projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship in applying paint finishes that meet quality standards.
- Physical stamina for working at heights or in various weather conditions; ability to stand for extended periods while performing detailed tasks.
