What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Assembly - Centrifugal position at HOOSIER FEEDER COMPANY INC?
We are looking for a machine assembly person to join our Centrifugal Feeder bowl manufacturing team!
What You'll Do
Use engineering drawings and parts lists to assemble, wire and/or modify centrifugal feeder bowls and related equipment
- Test, and troubleshoot equipment ensuring operation, and inspect for quality
- Operate tools and other equipment, and calculate dimensions and tolerances
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
This role will keep you thinking and moving!
- Must have a good mechanical ability and be able to work with and build from prints
- Ability to operate basic metal working equipment such as saws, drills, & Bridgeport mills,
- Self-starter with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, initiative, and dependable, have safe working habits
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills
- Strong communication skills for dealing with co-workers
