Responsibilities
- Assist head coaches in planning and executing volleyball practices, drills, and game strategies that enhance player skills and teamwork
- Support the development of athletes by providing constructive feedback, encouragement, and mentorship during training sessions and competitions
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to proper safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, and AED operation when necessary
- Help manage team logistics, including attendance tracking, equipment setup, and game day preparations
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respectful communication among players and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding team updates, schedules, and player progress
- Contribute to behavior management efforts to create an inclusive and motivating atmosphere for children of diverse backgrounds
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is highly desirable
- Background in volleyball coaching or sports-specific training instruction is preferred
