Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets, catering events, or special functions.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, new products, and menu changes to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience with brewing techniques or cocktail crafting is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining quality service.
