The Position:
We are looking for a dependable individual with great attention to detail to join our upholstery team as a trainee. This individual will:
- Learn how to finish the outside of upholstered furniture pieces, ensuring a clean and professional appearance
- Learn to turn and move furniture on platforms to place fabric and leather properly
- Train on how to use a hammering motion to apply material to furniture frames
- Begin learning how to read diagrams and apply materials using proper measurements
- Practice using staple guns and basic hand tools such as a pneumatic screwdriver, mallet, scissors, utility knife, and hot melt glue gun
- Ensure tight, wrinkle-free fabric application with clean lines and angles
Candidates that will be a great fit will:
- Have an interest in learning upholstery skills
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing 8–9 hours a day and working independently
- Learn how to use basic hand tools, staple guns, and upholstery equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have strong attention to detail and a desire to produce not just quantity, but high-quality work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Pay: $18 per hour
