Material Handler – Frame Pusher

The Position:
We are looking for a dependable individual to join our team as a Material Handler – Frame Pusher in our Valdese, NC location. This individual will:

Maneuver plywood frames between the Frame, Spring Up, and Set Out departments.

Organize frames according to style and type.
-
Scan frame barcodes as materials move between departments.

Perform brief visual inspections of frames to ensure basic quality standards are met.

Retrieve, stock, and put away production supplies as they arrive.

Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environment.

Use appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves.

Maintain good housekeeping practices to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
Candidates that will be a great fit will:

Have the ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, twisting, and reaching for extended periods of time.

Be capable of standing and walking for the entire duration of the shift.

Be able to push up to 50 pounds across the floor up to 50 feet at a time, up to 200 times per day.

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor level to knee level up to 10 times per shift.

Be comfortable using a barcode scanning gun.

Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30 am – 4:00 pm and Fridays 6:30 am – 10:30 am
Pay: Depending on experience.
