Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Office Clerk based in San Antonio, TX. The Medical Office Clerk will handle daily administrative and clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, managing appointment scheduling, verifying insurance information, and maintaining an organized office environment. Additional responsibilities include providing excellent customer service and supporting medical staff with administrative assistance as needed to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Possess strong Phone Etiquette and Appointment Scheduling skills to manage communication and maintain accurate schedules.
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology to communicate effectively within a healthcare setting.
- Experience with Insurance Verification to ensure accurate processing of patient information and claims.
- Administrative Assistance skills to support overall office operations and maintain organizational efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in medical office administration are a plus.
