What are the responsibilities and job description for the Franchise Attorney - Florida (Consultant / Outside Counsel) position at Hook Alliance?
We’re seeking an experienced Florida-licensed Franchise Attorney to advise a growing health and longevity brand on its expansion through a licensing model.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze licensing structures under federal and Florida franchise laws
- Advise on FTC Franchise Rule requirements and Florida franchise exemption filings
- Draft and review FDDs, licensing and franchise agreements, and operator documents
- Advise on trademark licensing, territory rights, fees, and brand standards
- Identify relevant healthcare regulatory considerations, including med spa regulations and corporate practice of medicine
Qualifications:
- JD and active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- 5 years of franchisor-side franchise law experience
- Hands-on experience preparing FDDs and handling Florida franchise exemption filings
- Experience evaluating license-versus-franchise structures
- Health, wellness, longevity, or med spa experience is a plus
Engagement: Remote, project-based consulting with potential for an ongoing relationship.
