Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate engaging adult day programs tailored to participants’ needs and interests
- Supervise staff members, including training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain a motivated and effective team
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance program success and community integration
- Oversee program budgets, manage resources efficiently, and ensure compliance with all funding requirements and regulations
- Coordinate behavioral health strategies and support services to address individual needs and promote positive behaviors
- Maintain detailed administrative records, including participant files, attendance logs, incident reports, and progress notes
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and participant satisfaction
Skills
- Proven management and supervisory experience in a social services or program setting
- Strong background in program development tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Excellent relationship management skills with participants’ families, staff, and community partners
- Solid administrative experience including budgeting, documentation, and compliance oversight
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and strategies for supporting individuals with diverse needs
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related fields such as social work or behavioral health
