HOODZ is the largest and leading commercial restaurant kitchen exhaust cleaning company in the industry, and we are currently hiring for the lead technician position which does NOT require experience, however experience is a plus, some of our best team members have prior kitchen restaurant experience or pressure washing experience.
We offer competitive pay including benefits (vacation pay, paid time off, etc). Additionally, HOODZ will pay a $500 sign-on bonus upon passing the background check and (90-days of full-time employment). We are looking for individuals that want long term stable employment (min of 1 year).
As a Technician for HOODZ, your job responsibilities will include:
✔ It is at night
✔ It is fast paced (never watching the clock)
✔ Work independently with 2 person crew
✔ Do not deal directly with general public
✔ Drive company vehicle to each job so there is "windshield time"
✔ Provide paid on the job training
✔ Very stable company and consistent work
Skills & Requirements
✔ Must have valid driver's license***
✔ Must have own transportation to and from work
✔ Pass 7 year background check (felonies/violent misdemeanors)***
✔ Work in small / tight areas
✔ Work on feet for 10 hrs at a time, knees for 30-minute at a time
✔ Must be able to squat and lift 50lbs.
✔ Must be able to climb ladder
✔ Must be available 7:00pm-6:00am (Sunday-Thursday)

As a Technician for HOODZ, your job responsibilities will include:
- Degreasing restaurant exhaust and ventilation systems, from the kitchen to the roof, approaching work with a safety-first mindset.
- Setting up the job sites as per HOODZ standards.
- Power washing and cleaning the HOODZ way with specialized, state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
- Inventorying, stocking, loading, and unloading vehicles.
- Satisfying, independent work with no bosses or customers to continuously deal with. We work off-hours at night in our customers' facilities. Once your training is complete, we trust our teams to perform at a professional and expert level, with little supervision.
- Driving work vehicles to clients’ facilities.
- The position requires working with another technician to clean the kitchen exhaust system with a big emphasis on pressure washing and wiping the vent hoods, unloading/loading equipment, and cleaning up the job site.
- We usually clean 2-3 restaurants/night (while they are closed) and work Sunday - Thursday night (ranging 7pm-6:00am).
