Boiler Operator Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Boiler Operator to join our team at Hood Plywood. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our wood fired boiler.
Your duties will include observing and adjusting controls to ensure optimal fuel feed, draft openings, water level, and steam pressure. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues, testing and treating boiler feed water, and maintaining accurate records of meter readings and gauge data.
