Responsibilities

Hood Industries, Inc. is a blend of wood manufacturing and distribution centers that include plywood, lumber manufacturing plants and twenty-three specialty wood product distribution operations. All located in fifteen states serving the northeast, southeast and southwest United States. This position would be in support of our manufacturing sales and marketing activities. The primary objective for this position is to provide support and enhance the sales and marketing activities to ensure that we are not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong time management skills to multitask and prioritize work.
• Maintain order accuracy and process necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate vendor-managed inventory tasks with customers and sales managers.
• Coordinate with freight vendors to ensure accurate billing.
• Coordinate intercompany order transfers with production planners and logistics.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to analyze patterns and recommend improvement opportunities to sales managers and representatives.
• Leverage technology and social media to increase brand awareness.
• Support sales team members and customers with product and warranty claims.
• Continuously develop professional and technical knowledge.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related business discipline preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related business discipline desired.
• Strong understanding of Office 365 with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Salary Range: $41,600 - $48,000Additional Information: Hood Industries offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package including medical, employee assistance program, dental, vision, cancer, flexible spending account, life, 401k, and LTD, available first of the month following completion of one month of continuous full-time employment.
