You’ll connect with customers, sales, and production to make sure projects move smoothly, deadlines are met, and expectations are exceeded.
How You Will Contribute
Customer Engagement & Support
- Communicate with customers via calls and emails, resolving questions, issues, and emergencies quickly and professionally.
- Validate delivery dates and proactively manage any deviations.
- Provide formal quotes or re-quotes as needed.
- Coordinate procurement of tooling, ink matches, and vendor selections to ensure projects meet specifications.
- Input new and repeat orders into Amtech and distribute information to the plant.
- Launch all external purchase orders needed for project completion.
- Organize and lead preproduction meetings for new display projects.
- Partner with Production Support on kitting and packing needs, providing complete order details.
- Track production progress and communicate updates to customers and sales teams.
- Support sales representatives with customer requirements and project needs.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and report non-conformances (including issuing RGA’s for credits).
- Maintain accurate pricing files, specifications, and project details in Amtech.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by refining processes and strengthening vendor and customer relationships.
- 2 years of experience in the corrugated industry.
- Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with customers.
- Integrity, trust, and customer-first mindset aligned with Hood Container’s Guiding Principles.
- Familiarity with Amtech, Kiwi and SharePoint software.
