Bell/Valet Attendant
Position Summary: The Bell/ Valet Attendant position is key in supporting the Honua Kai Condominium Association.
The Attendant is responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests/owners as they arrive and leave the hotel. When servicing guests/owners, the Attendant is responsible for being professional, friendly, and helpful, using the "Five Hospitality Standards" of eye contact, a smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation, and use the guest's surname.
Day-to-day duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Greet all guests/owners upon arrival
· Function as a bell/valet parking attendant and door host.
· Assist guests/owners with luggage to their rooms promptly when checking in and upon check out.
· Promote all resort functions and facilities.
· Inform incoming guests/owners on the various amenities available while assisting them to their room.
· Once in guest room, acquaint guest with basic essentials in room.
· Assist guests/owners by taking luggage to the curb to meet their transportation.
· Assist guest/owners with general information.
· Possess knowledge of the area in which the Resort is located to assist guests/owners.
· Keep bell storages clean and neat.
· Polish and clean bell carts daily.
· Ensure that the valet area is kept free and clear for guest/owners' arrival.
· Check and secure guests/owners' luggage until departure.
· Provide other assistance to guests/owners as necessary to ensure the highest quality of service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.30 per hour
