Brief Description:
ENTRY LEVEL:
The Grounds/Dock Hand position consists of various duties outside at Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina.
Duties consist of maintaining of the rental fleet, orienting customers on use of rental boats, running a gas dock for private sales, use of gasoline powered equipment and knowledge of hand/power tools on property for basic motel/resort grounds upkeep, attending to pool regular upkeep. Position is primarily outside and may be manual labor intensive.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· At least 18 years of age.
· Must pass a criminal background check.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Physical ability to handle at least 50 lbs.
· Ability to tolerate Florida heat as position is primarily outside.
Desired Abilities:
- Completion of the Florida Boater’s Safety Education Course and a Livery course (required complete with in 30 days of hire ).
- Boating Experience or a 6 pk boater card
- Pool Experience
- Gas power and hand tools equipment knowledge.
- Basic Property maintenance experience.
