Job Location: Groton, CT - Hybrid; minimum two days per week onsite

Description:
- This role will be responsible for managing both physical and electronic records, supporting document lifecycle processes, and assisting with document remediation activities related to the implementation of a new document management system.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring compliance with established procedures and record retention requirements.
Records and Archive Management
- Support onsite archive operations, including receiving, cataloging, storing, and retrieving records and archived materials.
- Manage both paper and specimen archives in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate record inventories and archive tracking systems.
- Coordinate archive activities with internal stakeholders and archive team members.
- Ensure records are handled, stored, and retained according to established compliance standards.
- Support the administration and maintenance of electronic document repositories.
- Assist with controlled document processes, including document creation, revision, review, approval, and archival activities.
- Support monthly document lifecycle and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) updates.
- Monitor document status and ensure timely completion of document review and approval workflows.
- Ensure document compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with document remediation efforts related to the implementation of a new document management system.
- Coordinate with document authors and functional stakeholders to update and prepare documents for migration.
- Track project progress, follow up on outstanding actions, and communicate timelines and deliverables.
- Support data quality and document readiness activities throughout the migration process.
- Maintain compliance with applicable quality and records management procedures.
- Assist in identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and document control.
- Participate in training activities related to records management systems, archive operations, and compliance procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant record management practice
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in records management, document control, archives management, quality systems, or related administrative operations.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
