CT Technologist
Location: Detroit, MI 48202
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs computerized tomography (CT) procedures and may also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations.
• Administer IV contrast media and monitor for reactions.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality.
• Assist Radiologists with diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in PACS and RIS systems.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Required Certifications:
• ARRT Certification.
• Advanced ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or CT Registry Eligible.
• BLS Certification.
Required Experience:
• Previous general radiography experience.
• Ability to operate CT equipment.
• Strong CT imaging experience.
Assignment Details:
• 13-Week Contract.
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
• 36 Hours per Week.
• Potential exposure to radiation and hospital environment.
Required:
• ARRT CT Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Previous General Radiography Experience.
• Ability to Operate CT Equipment.
Salary : $73 - $78
