Polysomnographer / Sleep Technician

Title: Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Technologist

Location: Greenville, SC

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 4×10-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM), every other weekend required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform overnight sleep studies for neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients in a clinical sleep disorders setting.
• Conduct baseline polysomnography, pediatric MSLTs, and home sleep testing.
• Perform mask fitting for nasal, full-face, and nasal pillow interfaces.
• Score sleep studies, including sleep stages, arousals, respiratory events, periodic breathing, Cheyne–Stokes, apnea/hypopnea events, and transient arousals.
• Perform CPAP, BiPAP, VPAP, ASV, and oxygen titration studies.
• Monitor and document patient status during studies using Epic EMR.
• Maintain equipment and ensure accurate collection of physiological data.
• Collaborate with interpreting clinicians and interdisciplinary support staff.
• Work within documented patient ratios (1:2) in a dedicated pediatric sleep unit.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sleep study experience; travel experience required.
• Active RPSGT or RRT-SDS credential.
• RPSGT requires exemption letter from LLR.
• RRT-SDS requires active state license from LLR.
• BLS certification.
• Proficiency in pediatric sleep study procedures and scoring.
• Experience working with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients.
• Ability to independently conduct and score comprehensive polysomnography.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Ability to work nights and every-other-weekend rotation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in both hospital-based and independent sleep lab settings.
• Strong proficiency with advanced titration modalities (ASV, VPAP).
• Pediatric sleep medicine experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $2,080.00 - $2,280.00 per week
