The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Oracle 19c environments, Grid Infrastructure, and disaster recovery solutions while supporting ERP-related systems and ETL processes.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities
- Manage Grid Infrastructure, ASM, Clusterware, and high-availability solutions
- Implement performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives
- Ensure database security, compliance, backup, and recovery procedures
- Support ETL processes and ERP application environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues while maintaining system stability and availability
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of Oracle Database Administration experience with Oracle 19c or higher
- 8 years of experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure, including ASM and Clusterware
- 8 years of experience with high-availability technologies such as GoldenGate and Active Data Guard
- 8 years of advanced Linux and SQL scripting experience
- Experience performing Oracle database upgrades and migrations, including Oracle 23ai
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup/recovery, security patching, and disaster recovery
- Experience managing multiple database environments supporting ETL and ERP applications
- Ability to work independently and support after-hours maintenance activities as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Federal, State, or Local Government organizations
- Experience working with hosting or managed service providers
- Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft environments
