Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and recommend suitable gardening, landscaping, or floral products.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
- Maintain attractive displays through merchandising and stock replenishment to enhance product visibility.
- Assist with plant identification, horticulture advice, and garden care tips to support customer projects.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing stockroom areas, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone communication or in-person inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or outdoor work environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, or floral design is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers.
