What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner position at Honor Plastics & Molding?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to create BOM for new jobs and update IQMS data as needed.
- Schedules new orders on appropriate machine or assembly station.
- Creates daily schedule and holds daily production meetings.
- Informs Production personnel of new lot number requirements and specific order requirements.
- Coordinates outbound shipments of produced product.
- Train others when assigned.
- Fills in for the Shipping and receiving department when needed.
- Maintain inventory count in IQMS and do a cycle count on each job.
- Able to control scrap and process evaluation of each job as needed
- Perform any other assignments given by the Plant Manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Understanding of the English language.
Ability to do basic math such as add, subtract, divide, and multiply.
· Prior Injection Molding experience or planning experience is needed. IQMS (Preferred).
