The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing various tasks within our warehouse facility, including inventory management, receiving shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and meeting our customers' needs for product delivery.
- Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and completeness
- Verify quantities and quality of items received and record
- Organize and store received items in designated warehouse locations
- Assist with inventory control activities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to supervisor
- Identify and report discrepancies or damages in inventory
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment and equipment
- Schedule downtime effectively for preventative maintenance tasks, such as servicing and inspecting forklifts and other warehouse equipment, to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, procedures, and software
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively – minimum one-year direct experience or training and experience combined.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are small
