Job Summary
Honor Behavioral Health, located in Boise, Idaho, is dedicated to recovery and compassionate care for individuals facing co-occurring behavioral health challenges. Specializing in integrated treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, we offer evidence-based protocols, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes. We are continuing to grow and are seeking team members who want to be part of building a high-quality, recovery-focused program from the ground up. We are seeking a Recovery Coach (PRC or Provisional PRC) to support clients in their recovery journey through engagement, education, and skill-building. This role works closely with clinical staff to provide non-clinical support services and recovery-focused programming. Responsibilities
- Provide recovery coaching services, including one-on-one support and group facilitation
- Lead non-clinical groups such as psychoeducation, life skills, and recovery-focused discussions
- Support client engagement, motivation, and accountability in treatment
- Assist with intake support, orientation, and client transitions
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care
- Support clients in navigating community resources and facilitate access to additional mental health or addiction services
Requirements
- Recovery Coach (certified or eligible)
- Lived expierience
- Prefered (PRC) or eligible to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Proven experience in crisis intervention and crisis management within behavioral health or social services settings
- Strong knowledge of mental health counseling principles, addiction counseling, and social work practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
- Relevant certifications or training in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or addiction counseling are preferred

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
