Job Overview
Honor Behavioral Health, located in Boise, Idaho, is dedicated to recovery and compassionate care for individuals facing co-occurring behavioral health challenges. Specializing in integrated treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, we offer evidence-based protocols, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes. Our services include crisis intervention, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and safe housing options to support recovery transitions. The individual in this role will provide therapeutic services such as assessments, individual and group therapy, and treatment planning. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients in their recovery journey, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards. The clinician will also actively participate in case reviews and staff meetings and work under clinical supervision.

  • Associate-level clinicians (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT) are welcome to apply and will receive clinical supervision from an LCSW as required by Idaho law

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health conditions and inform treatment strategies.
  • Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resources, especially for aging populations or clients with geriatrics needs.
  • Facilitate home & community care visits when necessary to support clients in their natural environments.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical counseling, social work, and behavioral health.

Skills

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and documentation.
  • Skilled in conducting intake assessments, individual / group counseling, and clinical counseling sessions.
  • 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred (including internship)
  • Experience working with commercial insurance payers and/or Medicaid (IBHP/Magellan).
  • Familiarity with substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Ability to manage a caseload, complete timely and accurate documentation, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrates a commitment to client-centered care and ongoing professional development

Requirements

  • Active Idaho credential in one of the following (or eligible prior to hire): LMSW, LCSW / LPC, LCPC / LMFT / CADC (or other qualifying SUD credential, if applicable)
  • Must be eligible to facilitate clinical group therapy and provide individual counseling within scope of practice..
  • Preferred expierience in behavioral health treatment program settings
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Comfortable with documenting clinical notes/EMR systems
  • Ability to work under supervision

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
