This position will be responsible for overseeing daily tasks in Honolulu Disposal Service's extensive Mechanic Shop and operations included but not limited to ordering and receiving parts, coordinating shipments, inventory control, working closely with the mechanics team, and maintaining a well-stocked and clean work environment.

Honolulu Disposal Service is seeking an experienced Parts and Inventory Administrator to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for overseeing daily tasks in Honolulu Disposal Service's extensive Mechanic Shop and operations included but not limited to ordering and receiving parts, coordinating shipments, inventory control, working closely with the mechanics team, and maintaining a well-stocked and clean work environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process. Bill required parts to repair orders.
- Ordering items for various operational departments
- Quote out purchases to ensure price-savings.
- Manage purchase orders and inventory management software.
- Replenish stock and follow up on back orders.
- Shipping and Receiving. Putting away incoming stock inventory and new inventory stock.
- Be friendly, professional, and efficient when working with team members, both on the phone and in person.
- Occasionally may be required to pick up parts from vendors.
- Maintain parts catalogs.
- Maintain clean, safe and well stocked area at all times.
- Inform VP of Maintenance and Facilities concerning problems or complaints.
- Assist external customers and vendors with any questions and concerns.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Possess knowledge and understanding about automotive parts
- Strong communications skills and the ability to communicate with different groups of people
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be organized and able to work in a high-volume calling environment
- Strong computer skills recommended
