About the Role
Are you passionate about coffee and looking for a role where no two days are exactly the same? Honolulu Coffee Company is looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse Delivery & Production Assistant to join our growing team.
As part of our warehouse and production team, you will play a vital role in keeping our cafes & web orders running smoothly by supporting daily deliveries, warehouse operations, and production activities. Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Safely operate a motor vehicle at all times in accordance with traffic laws and company standards
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle and all related equipment, submitting repair requests as needed
- Safely load, transport, and unload product between our warehouse, bakery, and cafe locations
- Support warehouse production activities including organizing, preparing, and packing orders
- Communicate clearly and openly with the production and cafe teams to ensure seamless daily operations
- Manage time and delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled drop-off windows
- Verify shipping loads against paperwork and obtain required signatures at each delivery location
- Relay feedback in a timely manner, including concerns, complaints, damaged deliveries, or returns
- Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, and warehouse cleanliness
- Support the production team with tasks as needed throughout the shift
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a clean driving record, clean driver's abstract, and be willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug test
- Minimum two years of driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform repetitive bending, lifting, and twisting
- Adaptability and good judgment when handling unexpected situations such as traffic, weather, or route changes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must be able to read and understand English; basic computer knowledge preferred
- A positive attitude and a passion for great coffee and great service
Schedule
- Monday through Friday; weekends as needed
