Our office in Salisbury, MD is looking for passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team players who are committed to the success of our business as well as our customers.
Hours: 11 AM to 8 PM.
Must be comfortable with overtime as needed.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Effective management of loading operations to include orders filling/loading of applicable delivery vehicles. Provide direction of 15-20 hourly employees. Oversees product breakage management.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Expense control and implementing safety initiatives.
- Train others to assist in warehouse functions.
- Manage product loading and housekeeping standards.
- Recommend discipline to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager/Director regarding employee work rule violations.
- Tracks daily picking standards for warehouse associate productivity.
- Checks in drivers ending inventory through driver’s hand held.
- Checks bulk & conventional picking orders for accuracy.
- Pulls bulk orders for warehouse pickers as needed.
- Covers delivery supervisors’ responsibilities as needed.
- Performs Physical Inventory counts daily/ weekly.
- Must be proficient on computers.
- Performs Route Reconciliation daily.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 years Warehouse Supervisory experience; OR 5 years Warehouse Supervisory experience.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Related training or certification.
- Experience working in a team environment.
