What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doorman/Bouncer position at Hong Kong?
Busy bar in Faneuil Hall hiring for door and security staff! The ideal candidate has experience identifying real vs. fake IDs, working security in high volume bars/nightclubs, is able to maintain professionalism regardless of the situation, and is reliable and punctual.
Duties:
- Check IDs at door to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age, presenting a valid form of identification
-Monitor door and maintain line to ensure overintoxicated patrons do not enter premises
-Diffuse and address any security issues inside bar from overintoxication to aggressive behavior
- Write detailed incident reports if necessary and maintain accurate records of daily activities
Skills:
Preferred: CPR certification and knowledge of first aid procedures
Required: Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
Required: Ability to conduct effective surveillance and identify potential risks or threats
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
