The Strategic Licensing organization is a key partner to Business leaders in the Product SBUs and Verticals, collaborating to provide a vehicle to realize strategies and generate growth. This particular role within Licensing will work closely with the Aerospace SBUs, including the regional sales and aftermarket teams, to drive the strategic lifecycle product licensing (“LPL”) pipeline and cultivate, negotiate and execute LPL transactions.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop an understanding of the product portfolios and strategies relating to technologies that can be licensed and the relationship Honeywell has with current and potential future licensees, including working with product leaders in the 80/20 product portfolio analysis
- Lead all aspects of late life cycle product licensing (LPL) opportunities – prioritizing high impact projects, driving diligence, negotiating with buyer to close opportunities and transitioning assets to new buyers
- Work with Director, Strategic Licensing and core deal team members to capture best practices and lessons learned in order to improve execution efficiency and transaction closure cycle time
- Meet the Licensing SRO, AOP and STRAP commitments from directly driving the execution of Licensing LPL opportunities
